Strawberry
Field Trips:
*Strawberry Trip $7.00 per
person (including chaperones,
parents and siblings.) Teachers
are admitted free( limit 2 per
class of 25 students.)
* Groups are encouraged to pack
a picnic and have lunch.
* Field trips at our facility
are most enjoyable for children
in kindergarten through third
grade.
How to care for your berries:
1) Keep the berries cool.
2) Remove them from the plastic
bag as soon as you get home.
Store them in a covered
container in the refrigerator.
3) Do Not rinse berries until
just before eating or using them
to cook with.
4)Remove the caps after rinsing,
this helps to prevent water from
diluting the flavor.
WHAT TO BRING:
1) Sharpie markers or labels to
mark students containers for
strawberries or pumpkins.
2) Large boxes to pack student's
berries or pumpkins in for
transporting back to school.
3) Hand sanitizer.
Call 2-3 days prior to your
trip with specific head count of
students, teachers, parents and
siblings. Groups of less than 50 may be
combined with another small
group. Groups are encouraged to pack
a picnic and have lunch.
